The Declarations of Covenants are the rules and regulations of the neighborhood and the board and is the superseding document that governs the community. The By-Laws and Articles of Incorporation are the documents that were first provided by the neighborhood developer that established the community as a Homeowner's Association in Maryland. Results of 2018 Covenants Update Vote:
We're happy to report that the new covenants proposed for the neighborhood were approved 11.7.18 by an overwhelming majority of our residents. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote!
The Maryland Homeowners Association Act requires an affirmative vote of 60% of households in a neighborhood to amend the covenants.
TOTAL VOTES: 154 (77% of households)
Votes in favor of the new covenants: 139
Votes against the new covenants: 15
